Safety glasses
Protective glass protects expensive collimator optics from dust, dirt and sparks. The lower safety glass is the main consumable; the upper glass is rarely replaced.
Collimator lens
Ensures the beam is parallel before it enters the focusing lens. Should not be changed more than once a year or when servicing the laser head.
Focusing module with position controller
Dynamic focal length variation during operation, to ensure optimum plunge cuts and quality cuts.
Cooling
Water-cooled laser head for critical components: collimator, focus.
Inductive sensor
Ensures that the nozzle height is always precisely maintained above the material6, which in turn ensures a stable cut, regardless of the curvature of the material.
